Electrification Support Engineer
An exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting Dublin Bus’s transition to an electric fleet.
We’re looking for an experienced EV/EV Charging Engineer to ensure the charging infrastructure, chargers, vehicles and Charge Management System are operating reliably and efficiently across Dublin Bus depots.
What you’ll be doing:
• Monitor and troubleshoot EV charging systems and infrastructure
• Act as the technical point of contact for suppliers, contractors and service providers
• Manage incidents, root-cause analysis and technical changes through to resolution
• Support depot teams with technical guidance and training
• Help develop processes and support future phases of fleet electrification
What we’re looking for:
• Engineering qualification or relevant technical/trade background
• Strong experience with EV charging / electrification
• Knowledge of OCPP, ISO 15118 and/or VDV protocols
• Experience in technical support, service delivery or operational engineering
• Experience managing vendors, SLAs and incident resolution
• A genuine interest in EV technology and fleet electrification

Jane graduated from the University of London with a BA (Hons) and joined the recruitment industry in 2000. She commenced as a trainee consultant working in business support. During the 20 years he worked in the UK, Jane was promoted to Account Manager, responsible for a number of national contracts, working with the all industries. Relocating to the USA in 2007, Jane established herself in the Boston market and joined us in 2012, managing the temporary business support services team and was responsible for managing and developing the Boston branch, and from 2015 until recently, she was responsible for managing the temporary recruitment services team in Boston. As of 2019, Jane is currently responsible for recruiting in the all sectors.
