Let's be honest...

If you've worked in agency recruitment, you know the drill.

  • Constant business development
  • Chasing clients
  • Chasing candidates
  • Unrealistic KPIs
  • Endless pressure to bring in new jobs

You probably still enjoy recruitment.

You just don't enjoy everything that comes with it.

That's exactly where this role is different .

Who we are:

Conscia Talent operates in a space that most recruitment agencies struggle to navigate successfully- public sector recruitment.

It's:

  • Structured
  • Professional
  • Compliance-driven
  • Outcome-focused

We're one of the few CPSA-accredited recruitment businesses in Ireland, delivering:

  • 98% fill rates
  • Long-term client partnerships
  • Repeat business built on delivery
  • Recruitment campaigns that genuinely make a difference

The traditional agency model? We don't operate in it.

The Role

This is a recruitment delivery role.

It is not a business development role.

You won't spend your days cold calling clients, chasing vacancies, or trying to hit sales targets.

Instead, you'll focus on managing and delivering recruitment campaigns for public sector organisations.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns
  • Working directly with hiring managers and client stakeholders
  • Screening and assessing candidates against defined criteria
  • Coordinating interviews and assessment processes
  • Managing campaign timelines and deadlines
  • Producing recruitment documentation and reports
  • Supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Ensuring compliance with public sector recruitment requirements
  • Delivering a professional experience for both candidates and clients

A significant part of this role involves administration and campaign coordination.

Public sector recruitment requires accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.

You'll be managing documentation, assessment records, communications, reporting, scheduling, and compliance requirements alongside your recruitment responsibilities.

If you're looking for a role where recruitment is done properly, that structure becomes a real advantage.

Let's be clear though...

This isn't a slow-paced environment.

  • Deadlines are real
  • Timelines are tight
  • Campaigns move quickly

You'll need to:

  • Manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
  • Handle competing priorities across different clients
  • Stay organised under pressure
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Deliver consistently every day

It's less chaos than traditional agency recruitment. But it still requires pace, ownership, resilience, and strong organisational skills.

Why this role works
  • No cold calling
  • No business development targets
  • No CV spraying
  • No vague client briefs
  • No constant firefighting

Instead, you'll have:

  • Structured recruitment campaigns
  • Defined processes
  • Clear timelines
  • Engaged clients
  • Meaningful hiring decisions
  • A focus on quality delivery

You still recruit. You just spend your time doing recruitment rather than selling recruitment.

You'll probably fit if...
  • You've worked in recruitment and enjoy delivery
  • You're tired of the sales treadmill, not the profession itself
  • You like working with candidates and hiring managers
  • You enjoy managing recruitment processes properly
  • You're highly organised
  • You're comfortable with administration and documentation
  • You can manage multiple priorities without dropping standards
  • You appreciate structure rather than seeing it as bureaucracy

What you'll need
  • Recruitment experience (agency or similar)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Confidence working with clients and candidates
  • Strong judgement and candidate assessment skills
  • The ability to work accurately in a compliance-driven environment

The bottom line

You won't stop being a recruiter here.

You'll just stop being the kind of recruiter who's constantly chasing the next client, the next vacancy, or the next sales target.

Instead, you'll focus on what recruitment is supposed to be about:

Delivering great hiring outcomes.

If that sounds appealing, it's probably worth a conversation.
