Role & Purpose

The SAP Senior Business Project and Relationship Executive will lead the delivery and ongoing optimisation of Dublin Bus’s SAP environment, ensuring systems, processes, and governance align with business objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders, CIÉ Group companies, and external partners, the role will drive effective change management, standardisation, and continuous improvement to maximise the value of SAP and support the organisation’s future needs.

You will:

·      Manage Dublin Bus project resources during the SAP upgrade project.

·      Manage the finance exposure to Dublin Bus throughout the upgrade project and over the life cycle of the upgraded system.

·      Coordinate with SAP technical teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of SAP processes within the CIE Group operating companies.

·      Manage requirements around SAP data archiving to reduce business costs and ensuring access to historic data is maintained.

·      Comply with all relevant Data Protection legislation

·      Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Energy, Sustainability, Health and Safety policies and procedures

·      Comply with Grievance Procedures, Dignity and Respect Policy, Disciplinary Procedures, and all other Dublin Bus policies

·      Foster good relationships with employees and relevant personnel in own area of responsibility, with Trade Unions, other departments of Dublin Bus and CIÉ Group of Companies and with relevant external agencies and stakeholders

Post-Project Upgrade Responsibilities

·      Act as the primary point of contact for SAP-related initiatives within the organization with a focus on SAP change management and SAP test control management

·      Participate and lead the use of SAP related tooling (Tricentis and Signavio) that delivers the SAP upgrade project.

·      Responsible for SAP training and knowledge management

·      Manage relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their SAP needs and objectives with a focus around business process documentation and improvement.

·      Represent the business on SAP related governance groups such as, but not limited to:

o  SAP Process Council

o  SAP Design Authority

·      Conduct regular reviews and assessments of SAP processes in conjunction with the business to identify areas for improvement.

·      Manage any activities related to the possible future implementation of SAP BTP and Fiori that benefits the business.

·      Oversee a standardised approach to the usage of SAP modules, ensuring they meet business requirements and that training (knowledge transfer) needs within the business are identified and actioned.

·      Manage future SAP BW strategy to ensure user reporting needs are met.

·      Develop and implement strategies to align SAP solutions with future business goals.

Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Management, or related discipline.

·      Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP management or similar technical system experience.

·      Proven track record in business relationship management and stakeholder management

·      Strong track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

·      Experience of implementing a SAP upgrade project or enabling projects underpinning the move to SAP S4HANA Technical expertise and competence in vehicle technology desirable
