Role and Purpose
- Manage the day-to-day tasks associated with the Business Continuity Program (Non -IT)
- Support the periodic procurement process for a new Risk Management System
- Oversee the enhancement program of physical security in Dublin bus
- Oversee the delivery of required enhancements to and the operation of the Risk Management Framework
- Comply with all relevant Data Protection legislation
- Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Energy, Sustainability, Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Comply with Grievance Procedures, Dignity and Respect Policy, Disciplinary Procedures, and all other Dublin Bus policies
- Foster good relationships with employees and relevant personnel in own area of responsibility, with Trade Unions, other departments of Dublin Bus and CIÉ Group of Companies and with relevant external agencies and stakeholders

Summary Areas of Responsibility
Business Continuity and Risk Management
- Schedule, coordinate and prepare; testing, delivery and maintenance of appropriate business continuity plans and related projects Companywide
- Lead the development, operation and embedding of the Risk Management Framework Administrator of the Risk Management system,
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive Senior Leader risk management training
- Be the primary point of contact for all Operational Risk Management related matters and incidents
- Assist the Director of Risk manage departmental projects by ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently including communication with Departmental Risk Champions
- Assist with project delivery, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met providing regular progress updates.
- Support in the preparation of reports, presentations, performance summaries for Executive Team meetings, business cases, proposals etc
- Provide research and insights on emerging risk issues for strategic decision-making, ensuring the Director has relevant information.
- Coordinate and follow up on customer and stakeholder communications, department projects, ensuring responses are timely and appropriate when related to security
- Lead the preparation of and participation in Crisis Management scenarios
Security
- Oversee projects involving physical security in Dublin bus
- Lead the governance around the oversight of 3rd party security contractors
People Management

- Prepare and organise documentation, reports, and materials required for Board reporting
- Schedule, coordinate, and prepare for internal and external meetings, conferences, and training events, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.

Other Requirements
· Relevant experience and / or third level qualification is desirable
· 3+ years’ experience with Business Continuity Planning
· 5+ years’ experience in Operational Risk Management
· Project Management experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work successfully in both individual and team settings
· Ability to think like a hacker in order to stay ahead of threats
